Hawkeye Foodservice Distribution Acquires
Assets of H&H
|
Iowa City, Iowa – On May 15, 2009 Hawkeye
Foodservice Distribution, Inc. entered into an agreement to purchase
certain unencumbered assets of H & H Foodservice of West Union, Iowa
which is ceasing operations at the end of this month. The closing
date of this transaction is expected to be no later than May 29,
2009.
Hawkeye Foodservice Distribution, Inc. will not be assuming any of
the liabilities or obligations of H & H Foodservice. Hawkeye
Foodservice Distribution, Inc. will be leasing the H & H facility in
West Union until it is able to secure a smooth transition for all H
& H customers from its current Iowa City, Iowa and Fairmont,
Minnesota facilities.
